COVID-19 is still rampaging through the United States and New York City is being hit especially hard. Therefore, it is so important that we are ALL staying inside. Moreover, it is important to pay attention to our mental and emotional health while quarantined. One thing that will help reduce anxiety is to practice meditation and mindfulness. I have found that if I meditate everyday for just ten minutes, my mental state of mind improves noticeably. I would recommend this practice to everyone! It’s been hugely helpful for me these past few weeks. There are many meditation lessons online and I will be posting one in the coming days as well. Finally, I want to take a moment to be grateful that I have the opportunity to be at home. I realize not everyone is so fortunate as to have housing and shelter, especially with rising unemployment. I hope everyone is staying safe.
